The Wrong Place, or rather Les Noceurs, has made the selection officielle du festival d'Angoulême 2011.
It's in good company.
Meanwhile the english version by D&Q is out there, and seems to get a warm welcome - editor Tom Devlin is making little noises of contentment.

Fumetto festival

From 1 to 9 may, you can come visit the Fumetto Comix Festival in Luzern, Switzerland. There are many things I don't know, but I don't know any better comic festival. This year, by stalking and emotionally blackmailing the art direktor, I get to put up an exhibition. I sleep in a cloyster cell and everywhere I turn my head I see an Alp.

The exhibition will show twenty original drawings from 'The Wrong Place' (which still have to make it through swiss border control) and sort of a tryptich/backlighted mural.
(I got this far with it today, but already the paper tape is coming loose in the corners.)

Les Noceurs, la traduction français de mon livre Ergens waar je niet wil zijn, est arrivé dans les librairies francophones. L'editeur est Actes Sud. Tout a été merveilleusement supervisé par Thomas Gabison, homme de grand cerveau, coeur chaud, et cheveux de demi-homme demi-loup.

Uitgever Oogachtend heeft geen boeken meer, verdeler Pinceel heeft geen boeken meer, je kan er nog vinden in de Fnac en sommige stripwinkels, denk ik, maar ruwweg kan je stellen dat Ergens waar je niet wil zijn is uitverkocht!
Eind september arriveert normaal gezien de... (even m'n lippen nat maken)... Herdruk.
